1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Lagnam
• You must be legally eligible for marriage under Indian law
• You must provide truthful and accurate information in your profile
• Only one account per person is allowed

2. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You must not share your account with anyone else
• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information
• Upload inappropriate, offensive, or obscene content
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Use the platform for any purpose other than seeking a life partner
• Attempt to scrape, hack, or exploit the app or its data
• Create fake or duplicate profiles
• Solicit money or personal financial information from other users
• Use automated tools or bots to interact with the service

4. Profile Content

• You retain ownership of the content you upload (photos, bio, etc.)
• By uploading content, you grant us a license to display it within the app for matchmaking purposes
• We may remove any content that violates our guidelines without notice
• Profile photos must be real photos of yourself

5. Wallet & Payments

• Wallet credits can be purchased through the app using authorized payment methods
• Credits are used to access premium features such as viewing full profiles
• Purchased credits are non-refundable once used
• Unused credits may be refunded within 7 days of purchase, subject to our refund policy
• We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time with prior notice

6. Connections & Communication

• Sending a connection request does not guarantee acceptance
• Contact information sharing is governed by your privacy settings
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by other users
• Users can block other users at any time through the privacy settings

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

• Lagnam is a platform for connecting people for matrimonial purposes. We do not guarantee successful matches or marriages
• We are not responsible for the conduct, behavior, or truthfulness of any user
• We recommend meeting potential matches in public places and exercising due diligence
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid to us in the past 12 months

10. Intellectual Property

The Lagnam app, including its design, code, logos, and matching algorithm, is the intellectual property of Smartspacetechnologies. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of the application.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Karnataka, India.
